Manhattan Beach

We headed South yet further yesterday to a well known and well loved spot, Manhattan Beach, and luckily caught both sunset and the lights being turned on for the evening.  Quite a sight.  Shot this with a 2.5 second exposure to capture the light better.There were some big waves pounding the pier, and when you look out you think "oh yeah, I could surf that" but then you realize, paddle out and you would be in all kinds of trouble its so messy out there.This morning we continued on to Newport, to one of my favorite places to eat of all time, Bear Flag.They have the best Tuna Poke, and all kinds of fish, really relaxed, nice atmosphere, and again, unreal food. Yes there is even a Jaws on the roof.The Tuna Poke.  Seriously amazing.  A little spice to them. Ok, so 3 other things the last 24 hours have showed me?They offer free parking for the holidays!  How nice!  In the UK, they would probably ramp up prices this time of year.Camp Pendleton once again showing off its wares.Oh... and weather.  I feel like this is the first time I've ever been down here and seen wind, rain and clouds.
