Dirksen Derby!!

This photo sums up everything great about Bend a couple weeks back.  Kappppoowww!A couple weeks back we went to Bend for the Dirksen Derby an event I have long admired but this was my first entry, so happy to take part.Nothing like a cold morning to get you going.Luckily there was loads of snow, and so the contest was more a side thought than a race. The place got a good few feet.I rode the lib tech in the course.  Great in the pow, but maybe not so on the course, need a shorter, wider board.The drive home was all time.Both good,..... and bad...and of course, the winner of my category, the one and only Ami Voutailainen.  Nice guy and OG legend.
