Benham Falls

After Saturdays epic road trip we decided to go a little closer to home in Bend where we stayed and check out the Deschuttes up at Bedlam Falls just outside of Bend.Bend is one of the nicest places ever.   Its like California living, in a mountain, where everyone seems to spend their days at the breweries, coffee shops, riding bikes or stand up paddling.  They get 300 days of sun a year which is ironic as Portland gets seemingly all their extra rain.Yes, another car shot.  Its getting around.Start of the trail, Wifey getting ready for some sun.Part of the river is shaped by the Lava which again provides yet another color contrast.Theres the ability to walk, run, hike, bike, take your dog on this run.You end up walking all the way down and round the river.The last post showed my style when Hiking.  This is Lennys styleHanging in the back. I also found these wild flowers on the cliffs, amazing. So whats for food then?Eyes on the prize sir.Down in Bend we caught up with the one and only Austin Smith.  Great snowboarder, good guy and  baby whisperer.The cars windscreen pretty much every time when we are on road trips.Caught some amazing light of Mt Jefferson on the way back too.and Detroit Lake.  One of the best.and a nice little sunset.Thank You Weekend.
