London Town
Picadilly Circus by night. This week, I managed to be in the UK for a special wedding which I'll update about soon enough.
Its always good to go home to see the sights of the UK, as it really does boast some of the most eye catching monuments the world has to offer. Above obviously Tower Bridge. Well. Not obviously as once upon a time, Americans bought London Bridge thinking they had bought Tower Bridge, but didn't double check which one it was.
A good 10 years ago, we did a rail down here and it was one of the best rails we ever did. Great spot right by Tower Bridge.
Right next to it is of course the Tower of London.
Right now they have a memorial for the outbreak of the first world war consisting of Thousands of thousands of poppies.
It was a beautiful day up in the city on Monday too.
"This is how much of the UK we will lose if Scotland chose devolution"
Victoria Station which was going away amazing espresso on our way off the train too.
We went through Oxford street and also Shoreditch to check out BoxPark.
We stopped by the Hoxton also where the twins of the wifey is working.
For some reason with this light, this place worked.
Back on Oxford Street the buses have changed their shape and now resemble the old school style buses.
Another week another big high street retailer goes under.
We also went through Leicester Square to watch "Jack to a King"
Its showing at the empire in London. Great spot, amazing film so go watch!
One of the best football movies ever.
It also meant that this weekend was the last time for me and the wifey to hang out for a while, but it was as always a great time cruising the city with her. Its been one amazing summer with the new wife.
