Remembrance Monday

This weekend, a link kept popping up on Facebook about Harold Percival, a 99 yeard old ex bomber, who had died in his sleep and according to the obituary, didnt have any family to attend, which considering all he has done for the country seems a great shame.  This is where the internet came to the rescue.  A twitter and facebook frenzy started up, and before long 300 people showed up for his funeral.BYyQc8KIYAAa1r2In the rain, that is a sterling effort, so well done to all who attended.BYyLlGSIcAAAvziAnd to add to that as they took his coffin in from the car they played dam busters apparently.  Nice way to get a good send off.Read here for more info http://gawker.com/hundreds-attend-lonely-veterans-funeral-after-sad-obit-1462208614
